The main aim of our Mental Health Project is to support people who are subject to the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003. This involves supporting people who receive both hospital and community based treatments.

Some of the areas we commonly offer support with include:

  • Support to understand your rights under the act.
  • Support to access legal advice.
  • Support to express your views in relation to your treatment.
  • Support to understand the processes involved in mental health tribunals.
